An Extended Car-Following Model Based on Visual Angle and Electronic Throttle Effect

With the continuous advancement of electronic technology, auto parts manufacturing institutions are gradually applying throttles to automobiles for precise control. Based on visual angle model (VAM), a car-following considering throttle preceding vehicle is proposed. The stability conditions obtained through linear analysis. By means nonlinear analysis, time-dependent Ginzburg–Landau (TDGL) equation derived first, and then modified Korteweg-de-Vries (mKdV) derived. relationship between two thus obtained. Finally, in process numerical simulations exploration, it shown how affect traffic flow. simulation results MATLAB software verify validity model, indicating that can improve stability.
